Colonel LANDSBERGER, RALF
The founder of Youth iCON Ministries and co-founder of SWAT Ministries, Ralf is the driving force behind SWAT's missions.
Born in Germany a little while ago, Ralf and his wife Corinna moved to Canada with their oldest daugher in 1999. He also brought with him a widely varied background in telecommunications, emergency response as a paramedic, security, event management, business entrepreneurship, and youth ministry. While more than competent at all of the above, his passion has always been for youth, and one way or another this passion shapes every part of his life. From running for school trustee, to volunteering in the schools around Abbotsford, to active involvement in countless youth events and church ministries over the last 20 years, Ralf moves from just talking about reaching kids to actually stepping out and making it happen.
With a technical and practical background in security, first aid, and event management, Ralf leads the SWAT team into a variety of events, situations, and outreaches which require capability and proficiency in keeping people and youth safe while at the same time leveraging every opportunity to connect with, listen to, encourage, and reach out to kids of all ages and backgrounds.
